For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11–13

Be patient! So I am told in discerning God’s will in my life. In life we sometimes get stretched in so many directions without any direction at all. My advice is to pray and pray without ceasing. This is what I continue to do. I feel that feeling of change coming to my life, that moment when everything comes to a head and a decision has to be made. My comfort comes in knowing that God is a part of that decision because I have allowed Him in through prayer.

I’m sure you all are guilty of trying to do things on your own without help and chaos takes place. Now this doesn’t happen every time yet in some instances it does. Sometimes it’s pretty ugly and the collateral damage is not able to be repaired. This is when God comes in to play. If we do something, pray about it, we know in Heart it feels right, you know that gut feeling to move forward. Well that gut feeling is probably the Holy Spirit guiding your heart. It starts with prayer and then patience when searching for His Will in your life. If you accomplish this then a sense of earthly happiness will follow.
