Life is filled with tragedy, with long patches of struggle and with, I think, beautiful bursts of joy and accomplishment.
Today, I am feeling more motivated. I believe I feel this way because of a few little accomplishments that I achieved last evening. No, I didn’t get an award or raise. What I did do is cut my grass, trimmed the hedges and cleaned the gutters. Plain and simple, it feels good. I think in life we try and shoot to big and want to accomplish great things all the time. The motivation is good but the let down can hurt when things don’t go your way.
Have you ever felt like your drowning in life? I think we all do at times. Make a list of the things you want to accomplish from most important to least important and work your list. If it’s getting that load of laundry completed write it down and you will feel good about this little accomplishment when completed.
Don’t let the daily chores of life consume your joy. Take a little advice from the brand Nike, “Just do it”.
One last thing….don’t forget to pray.
