“Our hearts were made for You, O Lord, and they are restless until they rest in you.”-St. Augustine of Hippo

No one is exempt from suffering.  Whether it be spiritual, mental or financially we are all suffering in some way.  As Christians we should offer these sufferings up for the conversion of sinners and the poor souls in purgatory.  This brings us in closer union with Christ as we unite our sufferings to the cross.  A cross can be a blessing at times but it is difficult.  This is when our faith is truly tested.

Many live without peace within their hearts and to find true peace sometimes is difficult with the distractions of the world. Peace comes when giving everything to Jesus and trusting in Him.  At first it may be difficult, but when you unite your heart with His the burden of this life will be lifted and you will begin to prepare for the next.
