World-class audio production of New Testament gets 5 stars




An all-star cast, original music score, compelling sound effects and top-notch technical work went into the latest dramatic Bible audio production – and it’s paying off with five-star reviews.

The Word of Promise New Testament is more than 20 hours long in a faithful telling of the New King James Version with a familiar star as Jesus. Jim Caviezel reprises his role in Mel Gibson’s “The Passion.” He’s joined by more than 500 other actors on the project.

The narrator is Michael York. Richard Dreyfuss has a close encounter with Mount Sinai as Moses. Gary Sinise plays David. Jason Alexander is Joseph. Marisa Tomei plays Mary Magdalene.
